Program Overview

The SNU Global Scholarship (GS) is a prestigious, fully funded opportunity for international students currently enrolled in or newly admitted to a graduate program at Seoul National University. The scholarship supports academic excellence and cultural exchange by offering financial support and Korean language training.

There are two scholarship tracks:

• Global Scholarship 1 (GS 1): Full tuition, monthly stipend, airfare, and language training
• Global Scholarship 2 (GS 2): Full tuition and language training

Financial Coverage

GS 1 Includes:

• Full tuition waiver
• Monthly stipend of KRW 1,200,000
• Round-trip airfare
• Korean language training

GS 2 Includes:

• Full tuition waiver
• Korean language training

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be international students (non-Korean nationals)
• Be enrolled in or admitted to a graduate-level program at SNU
• Have at least one regular semester remaining in their program
• Not have completed all coursework by September 2025
• Apply through the mySNU portal

Application Process

1. Log in to your mySNU account (create one if you’re a new student)
2. Navigate to: Academic Affairs → Scholarship → Apply/View Status → Scholarship Application
3. Select the SNU Global Scholarship Program and click “Apply”
4. Enter your bank account details (if available) and submit
