Job Title: Senior Product Designer – Ads Consumer
Job Type: Full-Time (Remote-Friendly)
Location Preference: California or Pacific Time Zone (semi-regular travel to LA, Los Gatos, or NYC may be required)
Compensation:  $120,000 – $515,000/year + stock options + full benefits

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Product Designer on the Ads Consumer team, you'll:

  • Design engaging ad experiences across Netflix's global platform
  • Work across surfaces to blend creativity with cutting-edge UI, motion, and brand design
  • Create advertising formats that respect the viewing experience while generating impact for advertisers
  • Collaborate with PMs, engineers, content designers, and data scientists
  • Help shape strategy for the ad experience, keeping users and advertisers in balance
  • Lead testing, prototyping, and iteration using motion and video to bring ideas to life

Ideal Candidate Profile

You're a fit if you have:

  • 3–4+ years experience as a Product Designer, preferably in advertising or media
  • Strong motion design or video editing skills (portfolio or motion reel required)
  • A portfolio that demonstrates advertising design in TV, streaming, or digital content
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong design process
  • Proficiency with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Figma, and prototyping tools
  • Excellent collaboration, storytelling, and communication skills

Bonus Skills:
✔ Experience in live TV broadcasting or web advertising
✔ Knowledge of ad campaign fulfillment or design standards
✔ Understanding of advertising best practices across digital platforms
