About the Role
Stepful is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support hiring efforts across the Product, Engineering, Data, and Design teams. The role plays a critical part in scaling technical teams, sourcing top talent, managing structured and equitable hiring processes, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
This role reports to the Head of People and collaborates closely with technical leaders & hiring managers to drive recruitment success.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Own and manage hiring for technical roles across Product, Engineering, Data & Design
- Partner with the Senior Technical Recruiter & hiring managers to meet headcount goals
Sourcing High-Quality Talent
- Build strong candidate pipelines through proactive outreach
- Use automation, AI tools & creative sourcing techniques to recruit diverse talent
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work with engineering, product & data teams to define role requirements
- Develop structured interview processes to ensure high-quality hiring decisions
Scaling Hiring Infrastructure
- Optimize existing recruitment systems & workflows
- Continuously refine candidate experience & hiring tools
Champion Diversity & Inclusion
- Implement structured and equitable hiring processes
- Support initiatives that promote diverse hiring outcomes
Qualifications & Required Skills
- 3+ years of technical recruiting experience (agency & in-house preferred)
- Experience hiring technical roles (engineering, product, data, design) at high-growth startups
- Exceptional sourcing skills with expertise in creative recruiting methods
- Proficiency with sourcing automation & AI-powered recruiting tools
- Strong communication & collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
- Process-driven mindset, ensuring high hiring quality & great candidate experience
Bonus Skills
- Experience shaping technical hiring strategies in fast-paced startups
- Knowledge of data-driven recruitment practices & talent analytics
