Purpose of the Role

Aria Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join the team at Frethey House, a 41-bed residential and nursing home with a CQC rating of “Good” and a 9.6 review score on Carehome.co.uk. You’ll provide personalized care and emotional support to elderly residents during night shifts, helping them feel safe, respected, and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living activities
• Support medication administration and health routines
• Encourage social engagement and emotional wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
• Collaborate with nursing and care teams to ensure continuity of care
• Uphold dignity, safety, and respect in all interactions

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

• No formal qualifications required
• Experience in a care setting is beneficial
• Genuine interest in supporting elderly and vulnerable individuals
• Empathetic, respectful, and growth-oriented mindset
• Subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
