About the Role

Marketing Signals is a fast-growing digital marketing agency supporting global brands with data-driven PR campaigns. We’re hiring a Virtual Assistant to support our Head of PR with research and data collection that fuels high-impact media outreach.

This is a fully remote, behind-the-scenes role ideal for someone who thrives on structured tasks, data accuracy, and independent work.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and compile media lists (journalists, bloggers, influencers)
• Gather data from websites, social platforms, and databases
• Scrape information using search engines and third-party tools
• Identify relevant statistics to support PR campaign angles
• Assist with ad hoc research tasks (e.g., trends, local news, contact info)
• Report directly to the Head of PR and support campaign execution

Required Experience

• Previous experience in virtual assistance, data entry, or online research
• Familiarity with data scraping tools (basic level acceptable)
• Experience with media list building or journalist databases
• Background in PR, SEO, or digital marketing is a plus

Skills & Requirements

• Strong written and spoken English
• Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel and web-based tools
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
• Able to distinguish between bloggers, news sites, and e-commerce platforms
• Reliable high-speed internet
• Available 35 hours/week, exclusively for this role
• Willing to learn, take feedback, and grow with the team
