Applications are now open for the SWJTU Silk Road Scholarship 2025 in China! This fully funded opportunity welcomes international students who wish to pursue a Master’s or PhD degree at one of China’s leading engineering universities.
This scholarship targets talented students from countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and offers the chance to study in Chengdu, one of China’s most vibrant and culturally rich cities.
Founded in 1896, Southwest Jiaotong University is a prestigious national university known for its strength in engineering and public science. It is jointly supported by the Chinese Ministry of Education, China Railway Corporation, and local Sichuan and Chengdu governments. SWJTU is ranked among China’s top engineering institutions and has earned high placement in Times Higher Education Asia and BRICS rankings.
The SWJTU Silk Road Scholarship provides full financial support, including:
