Purpose of the Role
Join the team at Cygnet Hospital Elowen, a new specialist facility supporting adults with eating disorders and complex needs. As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals achieve recovery goals, regain independence, and thrive in a safe, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical and emotional support tailored to individual needs
- Assist with medical and welfare requirements
- Maintain accurate records and report concerns
- Safeguard service users and uphold safety standards
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, nurses, and therapists
- Promote independence and positive routines
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Required:
- Genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Sensitivity, intuition, and resilience
- Female applicants only (due to occupational requirements)
- Enhanced DBS check required
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
Preferred:
- Experience in eating disorder or mental health services
