KOICA Scholarship Program 2025 in South Korea (Fully Funded)

 

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) invites international students to apply for the KOICA Scholarship Program 2025 in South Korea. This is a fully funded opportunity for students who wish to pursue Master’s or PhD degrees at designated South Korean universities.

No IELTS is required, and there's no application fee!

Total Scholarships for 2025: 109
Master’s Duration: 17 months
PhD Duration: 36 months

Scholarship Objectives

KOICA aims to train future global leaders who will contribute to the socio-economic development of their home countries. Established in 1991 by South Korea’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, KOICA oversees South Korea's Official Development Assistance (ODA) programs.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the KOICA Scholarship 2025, candidates must:

  • Be a citizen of an eligible country
  • Be a government official, nominated by their government
  • Be under 40 years old
  • Be in good physical and mental health
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree for Master’s applicants (2+ years of experience preferred)
  • Hold a Master’s degree for PhD applicants (3+ years of experience post-KOICA preferred)
  •  Have strong English communication skills
