Purpose of the Role
Pets at Home is seeking a passionate Store Manager to lead its Huddersfield team. You’ll oversee daily operations, drive performance, and create a vibrant, customer-focused environment that reflects the brand’s mission to be the Best Pet Care Business in the World.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of store operations, including stock control and standards
- Lead and motivate a team of 10+ to exceed KPIs and sales targets
- Foster a fun, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
- Ensure health and safety compliance across the store
- Deliver exceptional customer service and pet care experiences
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ retail management experience
- Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Flexibility to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to complete 6 months of training in customer service, pet care, and health & safety
