Position Details

  • Role: Night Support Worker
  • Salary: £12.21 - £12.47 per hour
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Colchester, Essex

Responsibilities

  • Support adults with learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injuries (ABI), and mental health needs
  • Empower individuals to lead ambitious and fulfilling lives
  • Provide high-quality, personalized care tailored to residents' needs
  • Assist with daily activities, including cooking, art, music, movie nights, and outings
  • Offer personal care, including continence support, medication management, shopping, and hygiene assistance
  • Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures for consistent and safe support

Required Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Good general education
  • Reliability, honesty, and a strong commitment to making a difference
  • Ability to work within the values of iVolve Care & Support
  • Satisfactory police check and ISA list screening
  • Willingness to undergo training and development

Desirable:

  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care
  • Experience in a social care setting
  • Knowledge of equal opportunities and regulatory frameworks
  • IT skills for record-keeping and communication
