About the Role
This Band 6 CT Radiographer position is based in Musgrove Park Hospital, offering the opportunity to work within a busy and innovative radiology department.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high-standard, safe, and efficient CT imaging services
- Prepare and scan patients while assisting with daily management tasks
- Engage in audit, research, and continued professional development (CPD)
- Support and mentor learners from various healthcare education institutions
- Participate in the Trust's preceptorship programme and CPD training
The department holds QSI accreditation, ensuring high standards of patient safety, staff wellbeing, and clinical governance.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications:
- DCR or BSc in Radiography
- HPC Registration
Desirable Qualifications:
- Trained to undertake IV cannulation and administer contrast media
- Postgraduate CT scanning experience
Essential Experience:
- Previous NHS radiography experience
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum two years of postgraduate experience
- Experience in a busy imaging department
