Procurement Manager – (Remote)
Location: Edmonton, AB (Remote)
Salary: $10,000 - $12,000 USD annually

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM MST

This role is responsible for supplier negotiations, cost optimization, procurement strategy, and logistics coordination to ensure an efficient supply chain. Key Responsibilities
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best pricing and quality
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and shipping companies
- Analyze supplier quotes for cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
Procurement & Purchasing Operations
- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes from requisition to payment
- Coordinate purchasing with production, finance, and logistics teams
- Ensure timely procurement & inventory availability for manufacturing schedules
- Manage product returns, claims, and replacements with suppliers
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use NetSuite or ERP systems to generate procurement reports
- Analyze trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize procurement strategies
- Prepare supplier performance and cost analysis reports for the CEO
Logistics & Shipping Coordination
- Partner with shipping companies and freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor import/export logistics, ensuring compliance with customs regulations
- Address and resolve shipping delays or logistics issues
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure procurement adheres to company policies & industry best practices
- Implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance efficiency
- Stay updated on market trends, supplier innovations, and industry developments
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Expertise in vendor negotiation, cost management, and procurement strategies
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to optimize purchasing decisions
- Proficiency in NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Excellent communication & leadership skills to manage vendor relationships
- Knowledge of manufacturing procurement, logistics, and supply chain regulations
Preferred Skills
- Procurement certifications (CIPS, CPSM) are a plus
- Experience in import/export compliance & supply chain risk management
