Procurement Manager – (Remote)

Location: Edmonton, AB (Remote)
Salary: $10,000 - $12,000 USD annually
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM MST

Key Responsibilities

Supplier & Vendor Management

Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best pricing and quality
Build strong relationships with suppliers and shipping companies
Analyze supplier quotes for cost-effective purchasing decisions
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards

Procurement & Purchasing Operations

Oversee end-to-end procurement processes from requisition to payment
Coordinate purchasing with production, finance, and logistics teams
Ensure timely procurement & inventory availability for manufacturing schedules
Manage product returns, claims, and replacements with suppliers

Data Analysis & Reporting

Use NetSuite or ERP systems to generate procurement reports
Analyze trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize procurement strategies
Prepare supplier performance and cost analysis reports for the CEO

Logistics & Shipping Coordination

Partner with shipping companies and freight forwarders to ensure timely deliveries
Monitor import/export logistics, ensuring compliance with customs regulations
Address and resolve shipping delays or logistics issues

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Ensure procurement adheres to company policies & industry best practices
Implement process improvements to reduce costs and enhance efficiency
Stay updated on market trends, supplier innovations, and industry developments

Qualifications & Requirements

Master’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
Expertise in vendor negotiation, cost management, and procurement strategies
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to optimize purchasing decisions
Proficiency in NetSuite or other ERP systems
Excellent communication & leadership skills to manage vendor relationships
Knowledge of manufacturing procurement, logistics, and supply chain regulations
