Position Details  

  • Role: Part-time Bookkeeper  
  • Salary: £13.50/hour  
  • Job Type: PartTime  
  • Location: Hybrid/Remote (Lutterworth, Leicestershire)

 Key Responsibilities  

As a part-time bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include 

  1.  Maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.  
  2.  Efficiently processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.  
  3.  Preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.  
  4.  Reconciling bank statements to ensure precise financial reporting.  
  5.  Managing financial data using Xero accounting software.  
  6.  Filing VAT and CIS returns.  
  7.  Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.  

 

What You’ll Need  

 Skills & Qualifications:  

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role.  
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.  
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.  
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.  
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.  
  • Strong numerical proficiency and analytical capabilities.  
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.  

 

 Preferred (Not Essential): Relevant qualification in finance or accounting.  

 Expected Hours  

The role requires a commitment of no less than 10 hours per week, offering flexibility for professionals seeking a part-time schedule.
