- Role: Healthcare Worker
- Salary: £25,500–£26,200 per year
- Job Type: Full Time
- Location: Hertfordshire and West Essex
Responsibilities
As a healthcare worker, your duties will include
- Holistic Patient Care: Ensure dignity and equality for service users at all times.
- Daily Support: Assist with personal care, washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and medication monitoring.
- Home Assistance: Help maintain a clean and tidy home environment.
- Mealtime Support: Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs.
- Observation and Moving: Conduct basic observations (e.g., temperature, pulse, and respiration) and assist with safe mobility.
- Emergency Response: Recognise and handle urgent situations effectively.
- Community Engagement: Escort or accompany clients to outings, appointments, or events.
- Empowerment: Supervise and coach service users to maintain independence and control over their lives.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing person-centred care that focuses on the needs of each client.
Requirements
While caregiving experience and a UK driving license are preferred, they are not mandatory. Exceptional Care At Home welcomes applications from candidates with
