FCM Foundation 2025 SEED Scholarship for Nigerian Students
The Students’ Empowerment and Education Development (SEED) Scholarship by the First Class Muslim (FCM) Foundation is designed to support Nigerian university students with financial aid for one full academic session. The scholarship also includes a mentorship program, where beneficiaries complete the FCMF Academic and Career Development Curriculum (FCMF-ACDC) to enhance their academic performance and career skills.
This initiative is sponsored by Human Appeal, United Kingdom, and provides monthly mentorship sessions over nine months.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a full-time undergraduate student in one of the nine eligible universities.
- Be in 300 level at the time of application.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 4.5 on a 5.0 scale (or equivalent).
- Be available and committed to fulfilling all scholarship requirements.
Required Documents for Application
Applicants must upload the following:
- Student Identity Card (University ID)
- Proof of Current Studentship (e.g., ID card, biodata form, etc.)
- Reference Letter from a reputable Islamic organization (not a student-based organization)
- Must be on official letterhead.
- Addressed to the Executive Director, First Class Muslim Foundation, Lagos, Nigeria.
- Must speak genuinely about the applicant’s character (generic letters will lead to disqualification).
- Current CGPA result slip, signed and stamped by the Head of Department (HOD).
- Personal statement (300 words max) explaining why the applicant deserves the scholarship.
- Format: Century Gothic, font size 12, line spacing 1.5.
- Full name must be at the top.
- AI-generated statements beyond 20% detection are prohibited and will result in disqualification.
