Eligibility Criteria  

Applicants must: 

  •  Be citizens or residents of a Commonwealth developing country. 
  •  Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) or equivalent.  
  •  Demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this scholarship.  
  •  Remain in their country of residence during the scholarship period.

Application Deadline  

Applications must be submitted by 16:00 (GMT), 20 May 2025. Supporting documentation is required at the time of submission to be considered eligible.

 

Selection Process  

Participating universities will review applications and select candidates based on:  

  1. Academic excellence.  
  2. The potential impact on their home country’s development needs.  

Universities will inform applicants of the results by June 2025.

  1. Apply for an eligible Master’s course at a participating UK university.  
  2. Submit your scholarship application via the CSC online application system.  
  3. Provide the necessary documents, including 
    • Proof of citizenship or refugee status (e.g., passport or national ID).  
    • Full academic transcripts.  
    • Two references on institutional letterhead.  

Ensure all documents are in the correct format (PDF, .doc, .jpg) and are no larger than 5 MB.
