Type 1: Master’s Scholarships  

Type A  

Coverage: CNY 25,000  

Eligibility: 

• JSU Bachelor’s students transitioning to Master’s.  
• Candidates recommended by “Belt and Road” cooperative universities.  
• Graduates from the top 1,000 universities (US News, QS, THE, ARWU rankings).  
• Graduates of “First Class Universities” or programs ranked in the top 1% of ESI.  

Type B  

    Coverage: CNY 20,000  

    Eligibility: All other admitted Master’s candidates.  

Type 2: Doctoral Scholarships  

Type A  

Coverage: 

• Tuition fees.  
• Accommodation Fee (CNY 5,000).  
• Living Allowance (CNY 5,000).  

Eligibility: 

• JSU Master’s students transitioning to Doctoral programs.  
• Candidates recommended by “Belt and Road” cooperative universities.  
• Graduates from the top 1,000 universities or “First Class Universities.”  

Type B  

Coverage: 

•  Tuition fees.  
•  Accommodation Fee (CNY 5,000).  

Eligibility: All other admitted Ph.D. candidates.  

Type 3: Bachelor’s Scholarships  

Coverage: CNY 10,000 (first year only).  

 Eligibility: New students in Material Science and Engineering, Electronic Commerce, or Corporate Finance programs.  

Eligibility Criteria  

To apply for the Jiangsu University Presidential Scholarship, candidates must meet the following requirements: 

1. Nationality: Open to international students from any country.  
2. Degree Offer: Must hold an offer to study an approved program at JSU.  
3. Age Requirements: 
   • Bachelor’s: Under 25 years old.  
   • Master’s: Under 30 years old.  
   • Ph.D.: Under 40 years old.  
4. Language Proficiency: 
   • Chinese-taught programs: HSK4 certification.  
   • English-taught programs: English language proficiency certificate (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL).  

 Required Documents  

Prepare the following for your application: 

•  Valid Passport Copy.  
•  Degree Transcript & Certificate (with notarized English translation if applicable).  
•  English Language Proficiency Certificate.  
•  HSK4 Certificate (for Chinese-medium programs).  
•  Family Financial Statement.  
•  Research Proposal (Master’s and Ph.D. candidates only).  
•  Two recommendation letters (Master’s and Ph.D. candidates only).
