The project manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating a portfolio of projects for the Global Network Engineering team. This includes managing network infrastructure across global data centres, multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and campus networks, aligning all efforts with FactSet’s organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
As a project manager, your impact will include:
- Defining, prioritizing, and managing a portfolio of network engineering projects across datacenters and multicloud environments.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to align projects with key business priorities, such as scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Developing and maintaining project roadmaps for timely execution of initiatives.
- Leading end-to-end project execution, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Coordinating with network engineers, cloud architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including IT leadership and external vendors.
Required Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5–9 years in program or project management, with a minimum of 3 years in technology-focused roles.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with datacenter networking, multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure), and campus network design.
Nice to Have:
- Certification as PMP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Trello) and collaboration platforms (Slack, Teams).
- Understanding of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), SDWAN, VPNs, and cloud networking.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
